• Regular season:
• Players are sorted into two subdivisions (1A and 1B) by randomly splitting pots of players with similar skill level
• Single round robin Bo5
• Level 18-19 start; 39DKS
• SPS
• Each game awards seven points split between players depending on the outcome
• 3-0 gives all seven to the winner
• 3-1 gives six points to the winner; one point to the loser
• 3-2 gives five points to the winner; two points to the loser
• Tiebreaks in the case of equal points are, in this order:
• Win-loss match record
• Win-loss game record
• Head-to-head record
• If still tied (i.e players in different subidivisions with a tied game record vying for a wildcard spot), a play-in will determine the final playoff berth
• Sixth place competes in the Division 1/2 Relegation Playoff
• Seventh place is relegated to Division 2
• The top three in each subdivision advance to the Championship Playoffs
• Two wildcards with the best records among the remaining players, regardless of subdivision also advance
• Championship Playoffs:

• Team Registration: August 30, 00:00 PDT – October 11, 23:59 PDT
• Prior to the tournament announcement, the organizers preemptively reached out to and designated a team captain for select countries.
• Players from countries without a team captain may nominate one by contacting tournament staff.
• Team captains are responsible for recruiting players, registering their team rosters, and distributing cash prize winnings to individual team members.
• Each team roster must contain at least 5 and at most 10 players.
• A player is considered eligible to represent a specific country/region/territory if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
• TETR.IO account IP history from country over a span of at least 3 consecutive months (verification performed by TETR.IO staff)
• Proof of citizenship with photo id, in combination with facecam, a logged-in TETR.IO profile, and one 40L sprint on camera (verification performed in video call with a TWS organizer)
• Seeding: October 12 – 18
• Teams are seeded by the Tetra League Glicko sum of the 5 highest rated players on each team with less than 200 RD at the registration deadline.
• Top 20 seeded teams qualify to play in the tournament.
• Group Stage: October 19 – November 8
• Round Robin with 4 groups.
• Groups are formed by randomly drawing one team from 4 different skill-based pools.
• Pools are constructed by partitioning the team list in descending order by seed.
• 5v5 counterpick draft, five FT7 1v1s, Tetra League Season 2.
• Top 1 team from each group advances to upper side of playoffs bracket.
• Next 1 team from each group advances to lower side of playoffs bracket.
• Team ranking within a group determined by, in order of precedence:
• Number of wins
• Point differential
• Head to head
• Seed
• Playoffs: November 9 – December 6
• Double Elimination split bracket
• 5v5 counterpick draft, five FT7 1v1s, Tetra League Season 2.
• 5v5 counterpick draft
• If one team has fewer players than the other team, then they forfeit 7 points for each unmatched player.
• Blind pick 1v1
• Each team takes turns banning opponent players until only 3 remain on each team.
